Speaking Grief for 20 Years

A Virtual Panel

Thursday, November 19, 2020
6:00 PM- 7:30 PM

Since 2000, Uplift Center for Grieving Children has supported Philadelphia’s grieving children and families. On Children’s Grief Awareness Day 2020 (Thursday, November 19), we presented a partial viewing of WPSU’s documentary Speaking Grief and held our first livestream panel discussion via Facebook and Zoom.

Moderated by Uplift’s Clinical Director, Kevin Carter, Speaking Grief for 20 Years recognized the unique challenges and strengths of grieving children and caregivers in the City of Philadelphia, and brought together a panel of experts to discuss ways that we can increase healing and supportive environments for children.
