Patrick Oleskey, Director of Operations at The Center for Grieving Children, has spent his entire 18-year career working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by trauma and chronic illness. Early in his career Patrick worked at the Andrus Children’s Center in Yonkers, NY working with children and adolescents using the Sanctuary Model of Trauma Informed Care. Upon finishing his MSW at New York University Patrick managed a state funded initiative training 30 Residential Treatment Facilities located in Pennsylvania in the Sanctuary Model. Patrick spent the next 10 years of his career managing behavioral health and child welfare programs at theVillage (formerly Presbyterian Children’s Village), a large Federally Qualified Health Center at the Family Practice and Counseling Network, and Urgent Care Centers at Vybe Urgent Care. Having recently received his MBA from Rosemont College, Patrick is focused on helping The Center for Grieving Children navigate an ever-evolving non-profit landscape while enhancing their efforts to support children and families in Philadelphia grieving a death so they can heal and grow through their grief.
