A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice and Duke University School of Law, Darcy Walker Krause, J.D., LSW, is a passionate advocate for grieving children and families. Having lost her mother at 15, Darcy knows the loss experience intimately. Through her professional and research experience, Darcy focuses on a variety of facets of the loss experience, including the role of attachment in grief and its long-term trajectory and evidence-based grief and trauma models of intervention. Darcy speaks regionally and nationally on these topics as well as non-profit leadership. Darcy was President of Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Children’s Grief from 2020-2021 and serves on NACG’s board.

What Uplifts You?:
I try to focus on the small pleasures that bring everyday joy, including my children, exercise, and cooking.
